COMPANY HISTORY
1981
CYM Industrial Corporation, a Global Manufacturing and Trading Company, founded in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, in 1981.
1991
Established first China presence in Tianjin, Hebei Province, providing Hand Tools and Rigging Accessories to American and European markets.
1992
Built first CYM factory in Nanjing, China, QiangJue Development Hardware Company (QJ). Installed Packaging Lines and sophisticated Quality Control Laboratory with Pull Test machines and a Rockwell Hardness machine. Established the CYM Export Department in Nanjing to service the European Customer base.
1995
Opened second factory in Nanjing, Crown Top Industrial Corp (CT). CT manufactures a wide range of items including metal stampings, light forgings and castings. In addition to Rigging hardware CYM expanded its product categories to include Hinges and Fasteners.
1997
C&C International Group, established in 1997, to act as the central management unit for the CYM family of companies. The function of C&C International Group is to service customers and prospects in the United States, Canada and Latin America.
2000
Opened CYM Nail Company in Nanjing
2003
Entered Japanese market for OEM and DIY items
2005
Opened Zhongshan Packaging & Logistics Center to access South China suppliers.
2006
Grand Opening of CYM's fourth Chinese factory, C&C Shanghai Plastic & Metal Company in Shanghai. The 350,000 square foot facility contains state-of-the-art Progressive Stamping Presses, Plastic Injection Molding machines, Automated Packaging Equipment and other advanced manufacturing capabilities.
2008
CYM announces that it has consolidated its 3 Nanjing factories into a single facility near Nanjing's Lukou International Airport, southeast of Nanjing. The move to this new location will benefit customers by bringing CYM's Nanjing nail plant, manufacturing, packaging and sourcing operations into a centralized location, improving efficiencies and reducing costs.
